HDC-SD9 Low Light Sample now Available
Monday, July 21st, 2008
The videos below come in around 8 MB total so they may take a few moments to load. If you’re looking for samples of Low Light Video from Panasonic HDC-SD9 these should answer a lot of your questions. The first shows just how poor it can get if it’s too dark. The second actually looks pretty good. You decide.
The first video was taken with the following settings
HA1920
24P Digital Cinema on
Low Light Mode ON
The first video below was taken with My HDC-SD9 at approximately 8:30 pm on July 18th. It was not nearly as dark out as this video looks.
Neither the sun or moon was out at the time this video was taken. There was a slight amount of Ambient light from the street lights but it was not very bright at all.
This second video was taken a little earlier in the evening on July 5th. We were at the fair so there was quite a bit of ambient light.
The video was taken on a moving ferris wheel with Low Light mode and Image Stabilization on. I don’t really remember the rest of the settings. This one actually comes out much better.
